More About Welhep T Syrup

Welhep T Syrup is a combination of two active medicines cyproheptadine and tricholine citrate. Together these medicines help stimulate appetite (hunger) in children. Also, it is given to treat allergic conditions in children. Give Welhep T Syrup to your child by mouth before food in the dose, time, and way prescribed by your child’s doctor. Give this medicine at a fixed time so that it gradually becomes a part of your child’s daily routine. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking this medicine,  help the child calm down and repeat the dose.To experience significant hunger stimulation and weight gain, you may require to continue giving this medicine to your child for a few days a month. Therefore, for maximum benefit, it is advised to continue the treatment for the prescribed duration. The intake of Welhep T Syrup may cause minor and temporary side effects in your child such as increased heartbeat, dizziness, confusion, headache, constipation, dry mouth, and blurred vision. These symptoms will resolve once your child’s body adapts to the medicine. However, in case of prolonged or bothersome events, it would be best to consult your child’s doctor without any delay.Inform your child’s doctor if your child is on any medical regime or is allergic to any medicine, product, or food. The doctor must also be aware if your child has or had bowel obstruction, malnutrition, weight-related issues, thyroid problems, or any heart, liver, or kidney problems. All this information will help avoid any complications in the treatment and will help your child’s doctor plan your child’s overall treatment better.
